Leader of paint company from Thailand said, the company spent huge investment to research and develop 2 lines of interior and exterior products.
Business leaders said that nano technology is widely used in many fields such as medical equipment, consumer goods, electric appliances, cars and motorcycles.
After many years of research and testing, the company has succeeded with duo of exterior and interior paint products using nano technology including: nano sillicone waterproofing, nano fluoro carbon which can resist stain and silver nano particles (Ag +) help antimicrobial.
With the goal of becoming the leader in the paint technology, TOA always focuses on investing and applying the latest technology to products that meet the diverse needs of consumers.
"With the investment of millions of dollars, thousands of simulated experiments are conducted in the R&D laboratory to test the resilience of paint under extreme weather, hot weather and heavy rains in Vietnam", said Mr.Udom Parichartwutthikul - General Manager of TOA Paint Vietnam.
According to the company, these two mainstream products also use Teflon technology, from the Dupont Group in 2012. Teflon helps prevent dust, improve the durability of the paint surface, increase the ability to withstand cleaning . At present, the company has about 50 decorative and industrial paint products in the Vietnamese market.
After more than 20 years of presence in Vietnam, the company is aware of the climate here, and set four criteria when researching new products, including: waterproofing, anti-heat, stain-resistance to improve the durability and antibacterial for making living space safe.
According to the research, 1,500 hours of sunshine each year in Ha Noi, of which many times it can be hot up to 49 oC. This number in Ho Chi Minh City is much higher, nearly 2,500 hours.
Therefore, the company prioritizes the development of the TOA NanoShield exterior paint line made entirely from high quality acrylic resin. The company has incorporated other components that reflect 95% of the sunlight, reducing the indoor temperature to 3-5oC
