Surface preparation
* New surface: the surface must be clean, free from dust, oil, greases and other contamination. Do not apply when the moisture of substrate is higher than 16% according to Protimeter. Let new surface completely dry in 28 days before applying.
* Old surface: remove old paints, make surface clean and free of contamination.Completely fix the root causes of moisture or water before applying.
Application
* Apply the first layer of approx. 1 - 2 mm thickness by using trowel or putty knife to make a smooth layer.
* After 1 - 2 hours, apply the second layer with the same thickness as the first
* Let the second layer dry in 1 day, smooth surface with sanding paper
* After sanding, use a broom to clean the surface from dust, roll over the surface by wet towel or absorbent roller and then waiting in 1-2 hours before applying.
Note
* Do not plaster over 3 mm thickness
* Do not apply when surface temperature is above 40oC
* On dry wall and highly absorbent surface, need to make surface wet and reduce surface temperature before applying.
* For good finishing, should use recommened paint systems and application instruction from TOA Paint Vietnam Co., LTD.
